The Tzu Chi Foundation integrates its missions in charity, medicine, education, humanities, and environmental protection to promote environmental education aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this international internship program, participants engage in three key initiatives: the Mobile Environmental Education Vehicle, the Environmental Protection and Disaster Prevention Education Exhibition Hall at Guandu Jingsi Hall, and the Asia Pacific Sustainability Expo.
Interns will assist in guided tours, activity facilitation, and exhibition logistics, gaining hands-on experience with themes including climate change, net-zero living, recycling, disaster preparedness, and sustainable development. The program fosters critical skills such as cross-cultural communication, teamwork, and environmental leadership.
Tzu Chi aims to offer meaningful opportunities for young people to explore environmental education in action, while encouraging them to bring these learnings back to their own communities and become ambassadors for sustainability around the world.
